Through one way or another, you've reached the heart of the Battlestations: Midway community! We started out in the small official Eidos forums, but we've grown since then, and now Arrow and Nemesis of the Killer Squad clan have made BSMCommunity.net to pave the way for the rest of the BSM community to move into a bigger, roomier, less-crowded site.
Battlestations: Midway is the first of the Battlestations series by Eidos Interactive and their Hungary division, and is a real-time tactics game. Set in the Pacific Theatre of the Second World War, Battlestations: Midway combines the elements of a real-time strategy game, a naval combat simulator, an arcade-y flight sim (similar to Ace Combat), as well as a submarine warfare simulator for a versatile and epic taste of the Pacific Theatre.
The game can be purchased either in retail or online from websites such as Steam or Direct2Drive. It is also available on the XBox 360 platform, but it should be noted that XBox players cannot play with PC players, and vice versa.
If you have the game, why not sign up? If you don't have the game, it's only about $30, so unless you're real pinched for money, go ahead and get it. Or, a more prudent course of action would be to look around the site and check it out to see if Battlestations: Midway is the right game for you.
REGARDING SPELLING
It would be greatly appreciated if everyone attempt to use proper spelling and grammar on the site, to at least seem professional? I can practically guarantee that we don't give modship positions to those who can't spell yet clearly can.
Exceptions
are, of course, to those who have English as a second language, but do
keep in mind this is an English BSM site, so try and keep the
discussions and whatnot in English, ne?
